One of the four lakes in Bali, it has an extend 3.9 square kilometers and 87 meters deep. The lake view can be seen from place near Gobleg village while having tea or coffee. People also stop north of the lake for its view and feed long tail monkeys.
Batur is names of the second highest volcano in Bali 1717 meters and the largest lake 1718 ha, on a normal tour the tourists just admire the view from Kintamani village as there are many restaurants/cafes overthere face to volcano to enjoy the scenery. So mostly they are there during lunch time but for photographers this place is a site to see the sunrise to capture Batur volcano and its lake during sunrise. Jukung is a Bali word for traditional boat, means of transportation by fishermen in Bali, perhaps the catamaran got inspiration from this traditional boat. Not many seen in Bali beach cause Balinese prefer to work as farmers than fishermen.
Tanah Lot comes from two words, Tanah means Land and Lot means Sea so a land in this case a huge rock on the sea. This place in sixteen century used by a holy priest from Java gave a Hinduism teaching to local people there. During sunset is the best moment to take pictures here, cause this is one of the best places in Bali so hundreds of people come here during sunset, it becomes difficult to take long exposure shoot. There are two angle for sunset shoot, if low tide we can do low angle one need to walk a little bit so we can put the temple as a foreground and the sun behind. The other angle is high angle shoot from the stall that sell young coconut water known as sunset terrace.
Resting place of Karangasem King, it used to have on pool only but I Gusti Bagus Jelantik or Anak Agung Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem, King of Karangasem who was a famous architect extend the area with other pool and building. Taman Ujung Sukasada, also known as Taman Ujung is a beautiful and historic site located in Ujung, Karangasem, Bali. Built in 1901 by the King of Karangasem, Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem, this water palace combines European classical architecture with stunning coastal and mountain views. The palace features three large pools, lush gardens, and a unique pavilion called the Balai Kapal(Ship Pavilion) in the middle of the largest pool. It’s a popular spot for photos and offers a serene and picturesque setting.
